Clinical excellence in the treatment of musculoskeletal pain & injury.

Nick, runner

"I had a big race looming and didn’t want to miss that."

"Pete gave me a series of exercises - a sort of crib sheet to follow."

With a nagging knee injury and a big race coming up, Nick wanted to find a solution to his running injury.  Now able to compete at his chosen level, Nick explains the physio process.
"I’m a runner and had been experiencing some problems with my knees. I had a big race looming and didn’t want to miss that. I also wanted to improve my running technique generally.

"Pete was recommended to me so I went along for an initial appointment where Pete asked me a series of questions, and looked at how I was walking, my range of movement, how I reacted to certain bending movements and so on.

"While I certainly had knee trouble, he diagnosed that the issue actually stemmed from an ankle problem.
"Pete proceeded with some careful manipulation, always checking and rechecking with me. He also gave me a series of exercises — a sort of crib sheet to follow — to strengthen my knee, make it more resilient and loosen up the ankle.

"I’ve seen a massive improvement and am able to run a lot more freely. If I do get occasional pain I know I can get past it — so long as I keep the ankle loose by sticking to my exercise regime. Pete gets a 9 out of 10 from me."
