• Financial information such as credit / debit card number (This data is stored by the secure payment system Stripe)
We keep information on your activity with us, including your visits to our physiotherapy clinics.
Data processing
Pete Jowsey Physiotherapy & Acupuncture will make sure that you receive the service you have requested, process any payments and send you information relating to that service. We will also ensure we keep your information up to date. Please do let us know if your details have changed. Your data will only be accessible to the individuals and staff required to run the physiotherapy service if they are trained and it is appropriate for them to carry out their job. This data is held securely and is not shared with anyone not involved in your care. Non-clinical administration staff may handle some of the data in order to administer the physiotherapy service.
We may use your contact details to remind you of future appointments, or other information concerning your treatment. We may also use your contact information to send you information which the practice believes may be of use to you and in your interests with your consent. We may also use your contact information to send you corporate Christmas, New Year or birthday greetings.
Information collected about you will not be disclosed to any third party, including your GP and other private or public health providers, fitness coaches or personal trainers you also work with, without your prior consent. Your data will never be sold. We will only share your personal information where: We are legally required to, or because of a lawful request by a government or law enforcement authority. To help manage the business reputable platforms are utilised, such as Phydeo for recording your personalised rehabilitative exercise videos; Appointedd for online appointment bookings; Apple iPhone for phone and SMS text communications; and Gmail for e-mail communications. They are subscribed to regarding their Privacy Policies and Terms of Use.
Our client data is stored within the Pete Jowsey Physiotherapy & Acupuncture Victoria Park Clinic in Bristol, in paper form in a lockable filing cabinet, and in electronic form on password protected encrypted devices.

The website uses Weebly.com which uses cookies to help identify and track visitors and their website access preferences. Visitors to pjphysio.co.uk who do not wish to have cookies placed on their computers, should set their browsers to not accept cookies before using the website.
The website is a secure website. It utilises an online contact form which directs your query to my pjphysioandacupuncture@gmail.com inbox. If you do not wish for your information to pass through Weebly.com then please either e-mail, SMS text message, or call the practice directly.

How long is your data stored?
Your information, for an adult will be held for a minimum of 8 years after the last treatment session and for children under the age of 18 years old at the time of treatment they will be held for a minimum of 25 years after the last treatment session. The records will be disposed of at the appropriate time in a secure manner.

If this privacy policy changes in any way, we will place an updated version on the website and secure appointment booking system. Regularly reviewing this page ensures you are always aware of what information we collect, how we use it and under what circumstances, if any, we will share it with other parties.
